Terms & Conditions – A&H AutoShine

Welcome to A&H AutoShine. By booking a service with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Deposit

1.1 A non‑refundable deposit of 20% of the total job price is required to secure your booking. 
1.2 Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
1.3 The deposit will be applied toward your final invoice.

1.4 This deposit only applies to in person bookings.

2. Weather & Rain Policy

2.1 A&H AutoShine is a mobile detailing service, and our work depends on safe and suitable weather conditions.
2.2 If it is raining or severe weather is expected, we may reschedule your appointment.
2.3 We will not work in aggressive rain unless we have clearly informed you otherwise in advance.
2.4 If we must reschedule due to weather, your deposit will be transferred to the new appointment date.

2.5 If the reschedule was done in less than 48 hours, compensation towards the client will be made.

3. Personal Belongings in Vehicle

3.1 All personal belongings must be removed from the vehicle before your appointment.
3.2 A&H AutoShine is not responsible for loss or damage to any personal items left in the vehicle.
3.3 If belongings are left inside and we need to move or work around them, an additional upcharge may be added.
3.4 The amount of this upcharge will depend on how many items are present and how much extra time is required.

4. Heavy Dirt, Buildup & Extra Soiling

4.1 If your vehicle has heavy buildup, excessive dirt, pet hair, stains, or other extra soiling, additional time and products may be required.
4.2 In these cases, an extra surcharge may be added at the discretion of the worker.
4.3 This surcharge will typically range from $25–$50, depending on the condition of the vehicle.
4.4 We will do our best to inform you of any expected surcharge before or at the start of the job.

5. Pre‑Job Inspection & Surcharges

5.1 A&H AutoShine may inspect your vehicle before starting any work.
5.2 During this inspection, we may identify:
• Excessive personal belongings (see Section 3), and/or
• Heavy dirt, buildup, or extra soiling (see Section 4).
5.3 Based on this inspection, we may add a reasonable surcharge if extra time, effort, or materials are needed.
5.4 By proceeding with the booking, you agree that A&H AutoShine may apply such surcharges when deemed reasonable.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

6.1 Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
6.2 Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the loss of your deposit.
6.3 No‑shows (failing to be present or provide access to the vehicle at the scheduled time) may also result in loss of deposit and/or additional fees.

• If booking was made online with full payment made, 80% of payment will be refunded if we cannot contact client.
6.4 If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible so we can offer your time slot to another client.

7. Liability

7.1 We take care when working on your vehicle, but A&H AutoShine is not responsible for:
• Pre‑existing damage, wear, or defects,
• Issues that arise from such pre‑existing conditions.
7.2 If we notice any damage or concerns before starting, we will document them and inform you.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a service with A&H AutoShine, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
